Halloween & Fall Fun at Lake of the Ozarks!

Fall Landscapes

The Lake of the Ozarks has gorgeous landscape views almost everywhere you look! The rolling hills and seemingly endless treelines burst with bright oranges, burnt yellows, and stunning reds every fall. There are several locations to visit that provide gorgeous views of the fall foliage.

Lover's Leap is a great example of the impressive scenic overlooks at the Lake of the Ozarks. In years past, it was known as a popular place to romance your sweetheart. Pack a picnic basket, grab a cozy blanket, and make an occasion of it. You and your loved one will feel closer than ever surrounded by so much beauty!

Fall Attractions & Activities

Ha Ha Tonka

This park features several incredible walking trails and ancient castle ruins atop a hill. The ruins overlook the gorgeous scenery of the Lake of the Ozark. With its serene waters and incredible fall colors, this is a destination that is sure to wow anyone that visits!

Bridal Cave 

Bridal Cave has been rated the number one attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks. The legends of the cave's history are fascinating, and the structures within the cave are astounding. Marvel at stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, and several other kinds of cave structures. One at Bridal Cave even looks like massive organ pipes!

Lake Ozark Helicopters 

Take to the sky and see the Lake of the Ozarks like never before! There are several different tour experiences to choose from, ranging from a short flight over Bagnell Dam and the Strip to an extended 40-50 mile tour over some of the Lake's most popular and beautiful attractions. View golf courses, resorts, Party Cove, Million Dollar Row, the Lake Ozark State Park, and so much more. This is an experience you won't soon forget!

Halloween Events This Week! 

The Lake offers several great Halloween events throughout October for the whole family to enjoy. Check out some of our favorites happening over the next week!

  • Halloween Bash on the Strip, October 26th

    This event will host a costume contest and fun trick-or-treating from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
  • Zombie Party: Night of the Living Dead, October 26th

    H. Toad's Bar & Grill is hosting an incredible Halloween party including a costume contest, a live DJ, drink specials, and fun prizes. It lasts from 9:00pm to midnight and is free to attend!
  • Halloween Family Day at Haunted Holler, October 26th

    Fun for the whole family! There will be free kids pumpkin coloring and a costume contest at 3:00pm. Starting at 12:00pm, kids in costume receive free candy! Also, try your hand at paintball and shoot zombie walkers - $10 for 100 paintballs.
  • Howl-O-Ween Festival, October 27th

    Dress your fur babies up for this event at Dogwood Animal Shelter! There will be several contests for people and pets, games for kids, and a quilt raffle. Admission is free!
