Here at Arrowhead Title, your premier title company at the Lake of the Ozarks, we believe in the efforts to give back to help better our community and assisting those in need. For this reason, our owner Chris Cisar is an active member of the Kiwanis Club. This holiday season holds the 31st Annual Kiwanis Christmas for Kids Charity Event & Auction, an event that's goal is to provide underprivileged children at the Lake of the Ozarks with gifts, necessities, and support. In this week's blog, we thought it fitting to spotlight this amazing holiday event as well as the organization. Read on to learn more!
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club Ozark Coast was organized in April 1988 and serves the Osage Beach and Lake Ozark region. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable foundation. Our club members are service-minded men and women from all segments of the community. We meet every first and third Wednesday from 11:30am to 12:30pm for lunch, fellowship, discussion of club business, and a program presented by community businesspeople on topics of interest such as community issues, public affairs, service, or entertainment.

Make the Difference in a Childs Life
This event is your opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of an underprivileged child here at the Lake of the Ozarks. It could be somebody you know, a neighbor, or a total stranger, but sometimes those down on their luck just need a helping hand to rise above. Proceeds provide underprivileged children at Lake of the Ozarks and surrounding communities with two Christmas gifts per child plus a $15 gift certificate for the lake area resale shops for each child. Help make this holiday season extra special for someone less fortunate by participating in this great cause.
Support the Lake Community
When you participate in the Christmas for Kids Charity Event & Silent auction, you're also assisting the community in which you live. Funds left over after providing Christmas for the children go to organizations we support throughout the year: CADV, Children’s Learning Center, Hope House, Kids Harbor, Lake Area Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Lake Area Helping Hands, Lake Regional Pediatrics, LOFD Car Seat Program, LOSA, Ronald McDonald House (Columbia, MO), School of the Osage Cares for Kids, Scholarships for Kids, Share the Harvest Food Pantry, Tri-County YMCA, Wonderland Camp, and many more. This only enhances the benefit of being charitable, as this event disburses raised funds back into the community to help support other like-minded organizations who make it their goal to give back and provide much-needed assistance to our Lake area.
